Location - Loughborough
Hours - Mon - Fri 2pm - 10pm

Purpose of the Production Supervisor role:
Our client is looking for a food production Supervisor to expand their growing team, to help produce and pack products ready for delivery. You manage a small team, ensuring that standards are met and procedures are followed, monitoring and maintaining the quality of products.

Main duties and responsibilities of a Production Supervisor:

Working within production, preparing and making cakes/desserts.
Managing a small team ensuring targets are met.
Follow start up and close down procedures and maintaining a clean working environment throughout the day.
Adhering to hygiene working practices to ensure the highest possible standards, and all procedures relating to food safety, legality and quality are adhered to.
Monitor and maintain the quality of the product throughout the process.
Complete all relevant paperwork fully every time a product is produced.

Experience/knowledge requirements for a Production Supervisor:

Resourceful and adaptable.
Willing to change tasks or departments as production requires.
Leadership experience within a food production environment.
Able to communicate easily with all other staff and able to understand the company written records and documents.
Minimum one year's food industry experience.
Comfortable with handling, preparing and baking of food which involves long periods of standing, lifting and carrying as well as other tasks such as cleaning.
