Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company in Loughborough. They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and deliver a variety of high-profile engineering projects across multiple sectors.
The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree or relevant qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Experience in risk management and problem-solving within projects.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Project or similar tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Leading and managing multiple engineering projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinating with design, production, and quality teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Managing client relationships and acting as the main point of contact for project updates.
- Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conducting regular progress meetings and reporting project status to senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Driving continuous improvement within project processes and methodologies.
