As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be office based in their office near Loughborough with support from a Senior QS / Commercial Manager. A chance to join a company who are looking for individuals who want to progress and develop their experience and career.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in accurate cost estimates, budget management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assisting in the procurement, selection and management of subcontractor accounts from award to final account.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely cost advice.
- Monitoring of the contract programme identifying/raising early warnings/potential variations/quotations.
- Completion of monthly valuations submitting applications as required by the company/Contract requirements.
- Carrying out internal cost value management of projects producing monthly project management reports for review with senior management.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Civil Engineering/Construction industry.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Preferably NEC 3 or NEC4 and JCT experience.
