Estimator Quantity Surveyor – (Commercial Construction)

Full Time – Permanent

Location: Leicester (and surrounding areas no more than 1 hour's distance)

Hours: Monday to Friday Office Hours

Basic Salary: £35,000.00 to £60,000.00 Per Annum plus Car Allowance and benefits.

Our client prides themselves in providing a range Commercial Construction service to their clients and has a brand reputation of second to none. Due to securing NEW exciting commercial projects, they are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced Estimator Quantity Surveyor on a Full Time Permanent basis.

Estimator Quantity Surveyor role:

Manage tender processes from initial review to final submission for multimillion pound commercial projects as an Estimator Quantity Surveyor
Conduct take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities.
Consult with the sub-contractor supply chain to ensure competitive pricing.
Analyse and assess quotations for compliance and value as an Estimator Quantity Surveyor
Work closely with the Development & Managers to ensure profitability.
Present bids to Senior Management for review.
Prioritise workload when working multiple commercial projects.
Regular weekly site visits within 1 hour from Leicestershire as an Estimator Quantity Surveyor
To ensure estimates are tracked and submitted accurately within set time constraints.
To follow up estimates for analysis, audit, and review
Provide a great professional customer service to clients within the private and public sectors as an Estimator Quantity Surveyor and be customer focussed.

Estimator Quantity Surveyor requirements:

Proven Estimating AND Quantity surveying experience within the construction commercial sector (Residential construction sector will not be considered)
Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
Experience with COINS software or similar is an advantage.
Effective communication and analytical skills.
