Estimator Quantity Surveyor – (Commercial Construction)
Full Time – Permanent
Location: Leicester (and surrounding areas no more than 1 hour's distance)
Hours: Monday to Friday Office Hours
Basic Salary: £35,000.00 to £60,000.00 Per Annum plus Car Allowance and benefits.

Our client is a highly reputable construction-based company established for well over 40 years with a huge presence across the UK. They have gone from strength to strength and experiencing organic growth. Our client prides themselves in providing a range Commercial Construction service to their clients and has a brand reputation of second to none. Due to securing NEW exciting commercial projects, they are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced Estimator Quantity Surveyor on a Full Time Permanent basis.
Estimator Quantity Surveyor role:
- Manage tender processes from initial review to final submission for multimillion pound commercial projects as an Estimator Quantity Surveyor
- Conduct take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities.
- Consult with the sub-contractor supply chain to ensure competitive pricing.
- Analyse and assess quotations for compliance and value as an Estimator Quantity Surveyor
- Work closely with the Development & Managers to ensure profitability.
- Present bids to Senior Management for review.
- Prioritise workload when working multiple commercial projects.
- Regular weekly site visits within 1 hour from Leicestershire as an Estimator Quantity Surveyor
- To ensure estimates are tracked and submitted accurately within set time constraints.
- To follow up estimates for analysis, audit, and review
- Provide a great professional customer service to clients within the private and public sectors as an Estimator Quantity Surveyor and be customer focussed.
Estimator Quantity Surveyor requirements:
- Proven Estimating AND Quantity surveying experience within the construction commercial sector (Residential construction sector will not be considered)
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with COINS software or similar is an advantage.
- Effective communication and analytical skills.
