Are you a Scientist (e.g. Chemist, Material Scientist, Chemical Engineer) with a passion for delivering projects? Do you want to leverage and hone your project leadership skills in our team to develop innovative solutions? Saint Gobain Interior Solutions is looking for a dynamic Project Leader to join our Product Development team at East Leake.
You will be part of a team developing and formulating powder products, such as finish plasters, base coats or undercoats, and various types of jointing compounds. The role is based in the UK, but some overseas travel will be required.

What You'll Do:
- Project Leadership/Management: Lead and manage business critical projects, from exploration to launch, putting customer needs at the heart of everything.
- Product Development: Hands-on approach to formulating and testing of innovative products and prototypes as well as data analysis. Furthermore, you will turn data into information and communicate findings across the company.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside culturally diverse and international teams contributing to continuous improvement and high standards of performance.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: A degree in a scientific discipline (e.g. Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering)
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience working as a scientist or project leader, with a proven track record of managing and leading projects.
- Skills: Strong project leadership and communication skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation. Ability to turn data into information and what that data means.
- Curiosity: An inquisitive mind, persistence, tenacity, and an ability to think outside the box.
