Astute Recruitment are partnering with a highly recognised and well-established company based in Loughborough to help bring in a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis to join their dynamic team.

This role is ideal for an experienced clerical candidate who has a genuine passion for what they do.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure all payments are made on time and in compliance with company policies
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Raising customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing
  • Monitoring customer accounts to ensure payments are received promptly
  • Resolving any invoice queries or disputes
  • Ad hoc administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work effective both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary, benefits, and hours:

  • Salary up to £24,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid - 2 days from home
  • 26 days holidays plus bank holidays with an increase to 31 with service
