Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring that students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. You will be expected to plan, assess, and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to secondary school students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths in a UK secondary school.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
