ROLE: Project Manager

SALARY: Up to £55,000 DOE

LOCATION: Loughborough (office based)

THE COMPANY:We are currently working with a leading retailer, who are looking to expand their team and recruit an experienced Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will have experience of overseeing retail fit-out projects.

Although the successful individual will not be managing a team, the ability to build strong relationships with third parties and subcontractors is essential.

A relevant project-based qualification (Prince2, AMP) is desirable, but not essential.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Manage new showroom fit outs and updates for new product lines.
  • Coordinate with management to align work schedules with showroom activities.
  • Oversee seasonal maintenance and small showroom projects.
  • Control operational and commercial aspects of showroom projects.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resources.
  • Regularly report project status to leadership and update all parties on progress.
  • Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections.
  • Manage budgets, subcontractors, and the tender process to maximize efficiency.
  • Optimize showroom displays, ensuring accurate data and compliance with H&S standards before opening.
