Senior Commercial Manager

75k plus car allowance and package

This is a strategic role within the Commercial team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of this thriving and growing business. The culture is positive, inclusive and people stay, their retention record is excellent. This is a new role due to growth.

As the Commercial Manager, your role will be:

  • Working with established and trusted Retail customers where there is partnership and collaboration.
  • Charged with category development and growth with key customers.
  • Working closely with an experienced and highly regarded Commercial Director.
  • Focussed commercial team with long standing relationships in the industry.
  • An environment to learn, develop and engage with likeminded, upbeat and ambitious individuals.
  • High profile account so an opportunity for real visibility within the business.
  • Working closely with NPD - innovation is absolutely key to this business and a reason for their continued success.
  • Frequent customer meetings as well as working cross functionally within the business.
  • Delivering and presenting business plans.
  • Involvement in NPD and commercial projects planned for the near future.

You will need the following experience in your background:

  • Experienced at Account or National Account Manager in the FMCG or food sector.
  • Skilled negotiator with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Interest in food.
  • Strong understanding of the need to understand the category in detail with exceptional market awareness.
  • Commercially and financially astute, numerically adept.
  • FMCG of food industry background essential.
