If so, then Quorn Hall School would love to hear from you.Your new roleWe are looking for a compassionate Family Support Worker to join our successful team. Among other responsibilities the appointed candidate will act as a point of contact in school for families in need of support, managing, implementing and reviewing any support plans in place for families within school. You will help to identify and address the needs of children and families who need help to overcome barriers to learning and help families in the support of their child's learning and well-being, helping to reduce school absence levels for key vulnerable pupils.Skills and experience include:* GCSE in English and Maths (A*-C) or Level 2 equivalent* The ability to build and maintain rapport with adults and children* A good understanding of the challenges faced by the families you help* Experience attending Social Care meetings such as CIN, Child Protection Conferences and Strategy Meetings (desirable)* BA Degree in Health and Social Care field or Youth Work (desirable)Your new schoolQuorn Hall is an inclusive and forward thinking school that supports Children and Young People aged 6 -17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
