A Local Authority in Leicestershire is seeking an experienced Housing Allocations Officer for an initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
This role requires two days in-office each week, with the rest of the time remote.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in housing allocations, including experience assessing applications, managing housing lists, and applying allocation policies fairly and effectively.
A thorough understanding of Part 6 of the Housing Act 1996 is essential, while familiarity with the Home Connections system is beneficial but not required.
