A local authority in Leicestershire is looking for two experienced Housing Options Officers for an initial 3-month contract, likely to be extended. The role requires two days in the office each week, with the remainder working from home.
Requirements:
- Experience drafting Section 184 decisions and Personal Housing Plans
- Up-to-date knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996
- Familiarity with the Home Connections system (preferred but not essential)
The council has a low caseload of 35 cases, set to reduce further in the new year, and offers a competitive rate.
Interviews will be scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
