Purchasing Coordinator | Loughborough | Full Time | £32,500

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Purchasing Coordinator based in Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this purchasing role offers a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to really make their mark on the business and support the ambitious growth plans across the group. This is a highly visible position within the company and requires an experienced individual.

Role Requirements

  • Good understanding of Import and customs requirements.
  • Understanding of pricing and margins is essential.
  • Must have worked in a similar role previously.
  • Prioritise workload across long-lead and real time demands.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Live within commutable distance to Loughborough

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Monitoring and forecasting inventory levels, raising supplier orders as required.
  • Monitoring pricing to maintain revenue and profit margins.
  • Ensure all import requirements are met and documentation is accurate.
  • Assist in product development with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for maintaining supplier CRM data.
  • Prioritise workload across long-lead and real time demand.
  • Assist in the implementation of efficient business processes to optimise stock control.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that procurement requirements are met.
