The Company:

An exciting opportunity for a junior FashionProduct Developer/ Grad Designer , to join a leading manufacturer of ladies, men’s and children’s clothing, who benchmark against quality, cost and delivery as result of owing their factories. You will be working with Buyers, building relationships and supporting the internal teams.

The Role:

  • Working in close partnership with merchandising and design to develop a trend-led menswear / children’s product range
  • Ensure relevant trends are translated into the product range
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the customer.
  • Working with their factory to ensure adherence to European / Global requirements of product development and quality.
  • Understanding sales and cost-effective design.
  • Excellent knowledge of high street retailers, and passion for product development.
  • Communication daily with the factory and customers
  • Responsible for arranging and attending meetings with customers
  • Adhere to all compliance requirements i.e. health & safety, security and ensures safe use of all IT systems and equipment.
  • Maintains compliance with all confidentiality and governance requirements within the department.

Skills Required:

  • Confident in communicating to buyers/ designers for business development.
  • Able to inspire and work closely with the designers of key accounts.
  • Confident in a fast-paced design environment working to critical path, delegating tasks if needed.
  • Highly organised with problem solving skills.
  • Attend inspirational shopping trips/ factory visits.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Maintaining high standards and ensuring the best work is delivered/presented and deadlines met.
