HGV Paint Spray Technician

Our client, a prosperous Truck and Bus manufacturer and dealer, is seeking for a Paint Spray Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality paint finishes on a variety of commercial vehicles, ensuring durability and long-lasting results.
Role:HGV Paint Spray Technician
Hours:Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4:30pm; Friday 8am to 3:30pm
Locations:Loughborough
Responsibilities:
- Perform surface preparation, masking, priming, and painting of commercial vehicles.
- Mix and match paint to ensure colour accuracy and consistency.
- Inspect and identify defects in painted surfaces, making necessary corrections.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Requirements:
- You will possess aCity & Guilds or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer or similar role.
- Have experience within HGV or PSV coach building
- Solid understanding of painting techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to match colours and achieve desired finishes.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a workshop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
