The Role:
As a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Fitter, you will be responsible for the on-site repair and replacement of hydraulic hoses for a wide range of industrial and commercial machinery. Your role will involve responding to emergency call-outs, diagnosing issues quickly, and providing efficient solutions to minimize downtime for our clients. With your fully equipped mobile van, youll be the go-to expert for all things hydraulic in the Doncaster area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to service calls promptly and efficiently to repair or replace hydraulic hoses on-site.
- Diagnosing hydraulic system issues and providing expert solutions to ensure equipment is back up and running.
- Building and fitting hydraulic hoses to machinery and equipment based on customer specifications.
- Maintaining a well-stocked and organized service vehicle, ensuring all necessary tools and parts are available.
- Providing excellent customer service, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and clients are satisfied with the results.
- Adhering to health and safety standards during all repairs and installations.
- Completing accurate job reports and paperwork for each service visit.
What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Hydraulic Hose Fitter or in a similar mechanical role, ideally with a background in hydraulics.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
- Ability to work independently, managing your own schedule and workload effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
