Sonic Summary

We are seeking a permanent HGV Technician for a reputable Truck Dealership with over 40 years of experience in the commercial vehicle sector.
The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 Qualification (City and Guilds - NVQ or equivalent) and experience in diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining LCVs and HGVs.
A full driving license and a personal set of hand tools are essential, along with a willingness to participate in ongoing training and mentor apprentices.
The position offers a competitive salary with overtime incentives, an annual tooling scheme of £1,500, and opportunities for career progression.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours plus overtime, and an expectation of 4 hours on alternate Saturday mornings.

We are looking to recruit a HGV Technician on a permanent basis for a well established Truck Dealership with over 40 years of expertise in the commercial vehicle market.

The ideal candidate would have a passion for commercial vehicles and hold a strong work ethic and be a team player that can work independently within the current workshop team whom are are hardworking, friendly, and experienced with positive attitudes.

Role Requirements:

Hold a full driving license.
Hold LV3 QualificationCity and Guilds - NVQ or Equivalent related to Commercial Vehicles
Experienced in diagnosing & servicing and maintenance & repairof LCVs and HGVs.
Possess own set of hand tools.
Willing toparticipate in ongoing training and development.
Support and act as a mentor to apprentices.
Ensure that vehicles are to DVSA standards.
