Gemini People are recruiting for industry leaders in the design and manufacture of Emission Control Systems for the marine and industrial sectors. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, the company is now looking to expand its team with a skilled Fettler / Tack Welder to join the production team.

This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, safety, and craftsmanship within a manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performing tack welding using MIG to assist in the assembly of exhaust systems.
  • Fettling (grinding, deburring, and finishing) components to required standards.
  • Working from engineering drawings and production plans.
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborating with the wider fabrication team to meet daily targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fabrication, fettling (45 Degree Angle), or tack welding role.
  • Confident using MIG welding techniques.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Good understanding of workshop health and safety standards.
  • Able to work from technical drawings (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong work ethic and a good eye for detail.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday : 07:00 - 16:00
