We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Perform stick welding and other welding techniques as required to fabricate components.
  • Assemble metal parts and structures according to specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
  • Fabricate sheet metal components, ensuring precision and quality in all work.
  • Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
  • Demonstrate mechanical knowledge in troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in welding, particularly stick welding, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment associated with fabrication processes.
  • Mechanical knowledge is essential for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to fabricate components from sheet metal with precision.
  • Basic maths skills are required for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
