The company

My client are looking for a dedicated and organised Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a three month contract. You'll be based in their open plan head office in Loughton and will support the team through this busy period.

Daily Duties

  • Invoice Management: Process invoices, manage accounts mailboxes, download and forward invoices, and handle remittances.
  • Supplier Coordination: Maintain supplier and subcontractor databases, set up accounts, complete forms, and ensure positive engagement.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Produce monthly reports, process expense claims, manage proof of delivery notes, and handle scanning and shredding of documents.
  • Communication: Answer department calls, take messages, and forward emails to relevant team members.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Finance team with various administrative tasks.
