We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team and support various secondary schools across East London and Essex. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to gain experience in education or for experienced cover supervisors seeking new challenges.
Responsibilities:- Supervise classes during the absence of regular teachers.
- Ensure students remain on task with their work.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Provide assistance and support to students as required.
- Follow the school's policies and procedures.
- Liaise with other staff members to ensure smooth running of the school day.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
- A passion for working with young people and helping them succeed.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and settings.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
