Senior HR & Training Officer

Are you a highly orgainised HR professional, looking to work for a well-established company?

We are recruiting for a HR & Training Officer to join a company based in Loughton on a full-time basis. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm and paying a salary of 40-44k Per Annum (DOE). This is a fully office-based role with free parking on-site. The company offer 1 day per week WFH following a successful probation.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Being first point of contact for HR queries via email and telephone
  • Supporting with the recruitment process such as producing job adverts, arranging interviews, and completing onboarding with new staff
  • Producing contracts of employment and other employee documentation such as Leaver documents, healthcare, and pension
  • Assisting with payroll and processing invoices
  • Attending meetings and completing minutes when required
  • Supporting with staff absences/sickness, disagreements, complaints, and grievances
  • Maintaining staff record files, such as references and DBS checks and keeping the HR system up to date to follow GDPR policies
  • Assisting the Director with all administration and planning of staff development activities and training, such as sending out email invites and preparing and coordinating presentations
  • Booking training courses for staff and completing payment authorisations
  • Updating training and qualification records onto the database
  • Providing other ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required

To be successful for this role, you must have previous HR admin experience, working in a highly confidential and fast-paced environment. You must be organised with excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise your workload. Intermediate use of Word, Outlook and Excel is essential. CIPD Certificate would be desirable but is not essential.
