THE ROLE
The primary purpose of the Social Media Manager role is to manage and coordinate brand social media channel content activity and community management for their Home Interest division.
You will be working on across the whole home interest portfolio, doing year-round social media content, including event focused and non-event focused content series.
This role would suit a generalist with 2-3 years experience minimum, who has proven success on either agency or brand side, managing, creating, producing or delivering content to achieve specific social media results. Meeting objectives for brand partner-produced content subject to client agreements.
Experienced at delivering a reasonable volume of video content involving shooting, editing, and video channel management. Awareness of paid media is a plus, awareness of channel and cultural trends should come naturally. This is a fun role in an award-winning UK media company, looking after several event brands year-round social content, with the scope to be creative and experimental working across a wide range of subject matter, including Home/Garden renovation and DIY, Cakes and Baking, Food and drink.
