The Role as a Photography Teacher:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Photography teacher to join a thriving Arts department. The successful candidate will teach Photography at Key Stages 4 and 5, nurturing students technical and creative skills and encouraging them to explore their artistic potential.


Key Responsibilities of a Photography Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging Photography lessons that inspire creativity.
Teach students the technical aspects of photography, including camera operation, lighting, and editing.
Guide students in developing their portfolios for GCSE and A-Level coursework.
Foster an appreciation for visual storytelling and artistic expression.
Support students in preparing for exhibitions and competitions.
Contribute to the development of the Art & Design curriculum and resources.


What Were Looking For in a Photography Teacher:
A qualified teacher with a degree in Photography, Art & Design, or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of cameras, photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom), and studio equipment.
A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to promoting inclusivity and inspiring all students to achieve their potential.
