My client is a c.15m t/o construction main contractorwho specialse in public and private sector projectsincluding schools, social housing, along with someNHS work, commercial, and fit out.
They currently only have one design manager in the business who will shortly be retiring. The role will involve managing6 or 7 jobs at various stages at a time. Average projects are 3-8min value. This will include D&B projects - usually fromstage 3 through to construction and handover. All projects are normally within the M25 region.
As Design Manager, you will be expected to managedesign team meetings, appoint/liaise with any outsourced engineers and architects,manage theflow of information and document control.
This position requires an experienced Design Manager with a number of years' experience working on similar projects.
