Our client are a specialist independent lettings company based in Loughton and South Woodford. They are looking for a Lettings Negotiator for their busy Loughton office.The company have become synonymous with the highest standards in the lettings and care of rented properties. They retain their emphasis on providing high quality personal service for all their clients. They are fully bonded members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA)The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2+ years' lettings experience. You must have a full understanding of the lettings process, be up to date with all current legislation with listing experience and local knowledge also preferred. You must be well presented and well spoken able to deliver an excellent standard of customer service.You must hold a full UK driving licence and be a car owner.Salary package and benefits of the Lettings Negotiator role include:

  • Basic £20,000 to £22,000

Skills & Experience required for the Lettings Negotiator includes:

  • Minimum of 2 years+ lettings experience
  • Listing experience preferred with local knowledge
  • Team player
  • Well-presented and articulate
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Enjoys dealing with customers face to face as well as over the phone
  • Exceptional customer-service skills
  • Ambitious and target driven
  • Natural selling ability
  • Must hold full UK driving licence

The role of a Lettings Negotiator includes:

  • Ability to identify appropriate properties for clients and vice/versa
  • Good working knowledge of inventory
  • Focus will be on speaking with potential tenants, building relationships, generating leads.
  • The ability to provide advice and turn initial enquiries into actual business
  • You will need to be able to work under pressure, whilst remaining organised, focused and accessible
  • You also need to be very driven and determined making a large volume of calls to potential tenants
