Accounts & Sales Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts & Sales Coordinator to join a friendly and dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for individuals with sales ledger experience, ideally from a construction background. The primary purpose of this role is to provide essential support to the Group Services Finance Department.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform nominal analysis and approve invoices.

Maintain spreadsheets for duplicate payments and proforma invoices.

Reconcile supplier statements.

Scan and link bank reconciliation documents to the internal document management system.

Maintain weekly contract cashflow reports.

Raise all contract sales invoices and follow up with surveyors when necessary.

Maintain customer and contract databases for sales information and contacts.

Ensure accurate VAT rates and invoicing details are received from contract surveyors.

Manage white goods and BT rebates at contract completion.

Prepare monthly retention reports for directors.

Distribute post within the accounts department.

Provide holiday cover for daily cash reconciliation.

Maintain supplier account databases and set up new supplier and factor accounts.

Scan and archive documentation for the accounts database.

Handle internal and external telephone enquiries.

Undertake ad hoc administrative duties as required.
About You
We are seeking an individual with strong efficiency in building relationships, alongside:

General accounts experience, including credit control.

Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel, Word, and email programs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

Ideally, previous experience within the construction industry.

Working Hours:

Full-time, permanent position.

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day with a 1-hour lunch break).
Experience Required:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience using accounting software.
