This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a dynamic Modern Foreign Languages department. As a French and Spanish Teacher, you'll play a key role in preparing, teaching, and evaluating engaging lessons in line with the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging lessons in French and Spanish, meeting KS3 and KS4 curriculum requirements at our secondary school in Loughton.
- Prepare lesson plans that align with school aims, policies, and curriculum schemes of work.
- Evaluate and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment to encourage language learning and cultural appreciation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote best practices and ensure continuity across the MFL curriculum.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specialisation in French and Spanish.
- Experience teaching both languages at the secondary level, with a solid understanding of KS3 and KS4 curriculum requirements.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating an engaging learning experience for all students.
