The role – Head of Economics
- The successful Head of Economics will be required to plan, deliver and mark dynamic and comprehensive Economics lessons to A-level.
- Lead, develop and enhance the teaching practice of others
- Organise events that promote learning within the department
- Develop innovative Economics lesson plans that cater to various learning abilities/styles, ensuring all students are engaged and challenged.
- Prepare students for exams and performances, providing them with the skills and confidence needed to excel.
- Develop schemes of work for the department that teachers contribute to and use
- Promote the school’s ethos/culture across the whole school
- Track student progress
