Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Domiciliary Care Worker to support a service user in Loughton with their daily care needs in their own home.

This includes personal care, safe transfers using a hoist, medication support,  maintaining a clean, safe care environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manual handling, infection control,  medication administration, must be committed to promoting dignity, independence, and high-quality care.

Shift Pattern

7 Days  x 1.5 hours a week in the AM - To assist with safe transfers

7 Days 30 mins a week at Lunch Time - To assist with safe transfers

7 Days 1 hours a week in the PM - To assist with safe transfers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, and toileting

  • Safe manual handling, transfers using a hoist (training essential)

  • Support with medication administration in line with care plan and policies

  • Maintain cleanliness of the care environment

  • Follow infection control procedures and wear appropriate PPE

  • Accurately document care provided and report any concerns promptly

  • Communicate effectively with the service user, their family, and the care team

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential)
