Learning Support Assistant - Loughton

Position:Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location:Loughton
Start Date:Immediate
Contract:Full-time, long-term
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them achieve their full potential
- Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and facilitating learning
- Adapt and modify lesson materials to meet the needs of individual students
- Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their inclusion in all activities
- Help create a positive and engaging learning environment for all pupils
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role
- Understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient and empathetic approach to working with children
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training
