Learning Support Assistant - Loughton

Position:Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location:Loughton
Start Date:Immediate
Contract:Full-time, long-term

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them achieve their full potential
  • Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and facilitating learning
  • Adapt and modify lesson materials to meet the needs of individual students
  • Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their inclusion in all activities
  • Help create a positive and engaging learning environment for all pupils

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role
  • Understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient and empathetic approach to working with children
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training
