About theSEND Learning Support AssistantRole:

Youll be working in a school that caters to pupils with severe and complex learning needs. The school provides a bespoke curriculum tailored to each pupils immediate learning needs and long-term aspirations. The focus is on removing barriers to engagement and learning, with significant emphasis on functional communication, emotional regulation, and sensory integration.

SEND Learning Support AssistantKey Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assist teachers in delivering individualized learning activities
  • Manage behavior and create a supportive learning environment
  • Encourage emotional and social development
  • Collaborate with a range of therapists to support holistic development

  • Experience working with children with SEN
