Main Purpose of the Role

Ensure the quality of all loan applications through manual testing as part of the ongoing software development lifecycle.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Testing the functionality, new features, bugs fixes and changes to the frontend website on various web browsers (desktops, mobiles and tablets)

Testing the functionality, new features, bugs fixes and changes to a Backend Loan Management System (LMS) on various web browsers

Testing the lead submission API

Testing automation jobs

Triaging and addressing issues and queries from agents/senior management (in the dev mailbox)

Checking for spelling, grammar or content issues on the frontend website and outbound communications

Keeping on top of errors to highlight problems on the live environment and all related infrastructure

Review customer’s interaction with the frontend website to identify or confirm issues

Communicate with stakeholders to ensure tickets meet scoping requirements

Ensuring ticket releases are performed in a timely, predictable way and to communicate if there are any issues blocking the release

Attending scrum meetings and briefings (standups and sprint) with stakeholders and peer

Other development department related ad-hoc tasks that may arise from time to time

Desirable Skills

Basic HTML/CSS

Experience in any Object-Oriented programming language, preferably C#

Browser automation (preferably Selenium)

BDD Framework preferably SpecFlow

Javascript

Agile methodologies/Scrum

Computer Science related degree or experience
