- Support learners with SEND/EHCPs, helping them to achieve success in their studies.
- Assist in the classroom, workshop environments, and on a one-to-one basis, including reading, scribing, IT support, and preparing/adapting learning materials.
- Provide personal care support as needed, including assistance with hygiene, mobility, and medication administration.
- Escort learners off-site for activities and help with transport duties when required.
- Promote a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring learners' independence and well-being.
- Assist in the supervision of learners during exams, breaks, and trips, ensuring their safety and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to monitor learners’ progress and provide regular feedback.
- Must hold an up-to-date DBS check (on the Update Service).
- Experience working with SEND learners and providing personal care support.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to learners' academic and social progress.
- Flexibility to support learners outside of scheduled hours as needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to promoting independence for all learners.
