Supported Learning CoachLocation: LoughtonRate: £19 per hourFull-Time: Available ASAP until the end of the academic yearPurpose of the Job:We are looking for an experienced Supported Learning Coach to assist and support learners with a variety of additional learning needs, learning difficulties, and disabilities. The role will involve supporting students across a range of courses, from pre-entry to level 3, and assisting in their academic and personal development.As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with staff and work closely with learners to ensure they receive the support they need to succeed.Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and support learners with additional learning needs, learning difficulties, and/or disabilities.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and small group support for students with varying needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students.
  • Monitor and track students’ progress and provide feedback on their development.
  • Create and deliver tailored learning resources to assist students in achieving their goals and preparing for assessments and exams.
  • Liaise with external support and referral agencies as appropriate.
  • Offer Learning Support-focused training and guidance to staff members.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree or comparable qualification.
  • A qualification in Literacy/Numeracy/Dyslexia/LDD or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience supporting learners with a range of additional learning needs, learning difficulties, and/or disabilities.
  • Must have an up-to-date DBS on the update service.
Additional Information:
  • Full-time, immediate start, available until the end of the academic year.
  • This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility to work across various levels and subjects.
