Position: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Drogheda
Salary: Approx. 50,000 - 65,000 & company benefits,
We have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, working with high speed automated machinery, equipment and robotic systems. You will be creating industry leading solutions for customers.
The Electrical Design Engineer role will include:
- Design of Electrical Systems
- Preparation of Bill of Materials
- Management of project delivery timelines
- Preparation of manufacturing and installation specifications
- Planning of electrical and controls installations
- Testing and commissioning on customer sites
- Preparation of validation & test documentation
- Training clients on as "built equipment" & providing supportThorough understanding of SHEQ standards
Key experience and skills required for the Electrical Design Engineer:
- A degree or technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Automation or Mechatronics.
- Sound knowledge of requirements of ISO 60204 & ISO 13849
- Exposure to Automation & Materials Handling Systems
- Knowledge of EPlan desirable or similar electrical software package
- Experience in Selection & Configuration of Variable Speed Drives (VSD's)
