Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a weekends only role within an industry leading company that offer progression and excellent pay package.

This company are the UK's market leading plastics manufacturer, supplying to clients internationally in a multitude of industries including multiple Tier 1 Automotive OEM's.

This role would see the successful individual work three 12 hour shifts on Friday to Sunday, working from 6am to 6pm one weekend then 6pm to 6am the following, to complete all planned maintenance around the manufacturing facility. Accurate written and verbal communication skills are essential to provide accurate feedback, complete relevant documentation and suggest ideas for operational improvement.

The Role:

  • Friday to Sunday 6am to 6pm alternating days and nights weekly
  • Ensure all maintenance work is undertaken in a safe manner within health and safety guidelines
  • Daily checks including safety, operational, technical, calibrations and routine maintenance all in line with the maintenance schedule
  • Install new plant, machinery or equipment in association with external contractors as required
  • Complete reactive maintenance whenever necessary and complete all planned maintenance to minimise unplanned downtime

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on mechanical skills
  • Experience with industrial plant equipment or extruders advantageous
