This is a globally recognised business and you will be working across their large yard receivingdeliveriesand movinggoods to the correctunits forproduction or dispatch. You will be working with a wide range of productsranging in size and weight, this position will offer you a lot of variety based on the changing projects you will be working on!
This role is paying up to 13.00ph DOE and is working Monday to Friday on a day shift at a manufacturing company based in Christchurch. This is a permanent contract with the opportunity to start immediately!
Main responsibilities for the successfulForklift Driver
- Unloading of heavy goods
- Operation of counterbalance forklift in order to transport goods
- Completion of paper work regarding goods out
- Support in other areas of the company when required
- Paletising and labelling
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy
- Previous experience working within a yard environment
- Counterbalance Forklift License
- Confident using forkliftto move large stock
- Passion for hard work
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Team mentality
