We are looking for a Material Handler to join our client in Christchurch, this is an exciting role that can offer a lot of variety and opportunity for training. This role is permanent and an offer an immediate start.

The company are looking for amotivated and career driven personwho is looking toexcel, the role is11.50ph - 12.50 DOE to start with great opportunities to progress your skills and increase your pay rate! The role is working Monday to Friday on a day shift.

This is a large company that design and manufacture high quality structures and equipment, you will be working with a large catalogue of products throughout the distribution and manufacturing process.

Duties for the successful Material Handler:
  • Marking out material and templates
  • Moving materials around yard and workshop
  • Using various hand and power tools
  • Shot blasting
  • Assisting around the workshop as and when needed.
  • Using forklift to move goods
Key skills to be considered for this Material Handler:
  • Previous experience within a materials role
  • Flexible and versatile with a can do attitude
  • Current forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience working with metal and within manufacturing would be preferred but not essential
