At Vision for Education, we are looking to recruit an Art Teacher for an engaging secondary school based in New Milton.

ECTs and Fully Qualified Teachers are encouraged to apply.

Contract: Full-time, ASAP start, Planning and marking.

M1 – UPS3.

As an Art Teacher, you will be integral to nurturing the artistic abilities of students, encouraging them to express themselves and explore their creativity through various art forms and media. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on students’ artistic and personal development.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring and engaging Art lessons across a range of techniques and mediums.
  • Develop students understanding of Art History and contemporary Art practices.
  • Encourage creativity and self-expression amongst students of all abilities.
  • Assess and evaluate students work, providing constructive feedback to foster their artistic growth.
  • Organise and coordinate Art displays and exhibitions to showcase students work.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate actively in school events and committees.

To join us and be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history with any employment breaks explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
