Shift Engineer (Mechanical Maintenance)
You will be joining a leading manufacturing company as Shift Engineer at their Ripley site (DE5). If you are a time-served, mechanically biased maintenance engineer with a passion for manufacturing and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!
Key Criteria:
- Apprenticeship:Time-served mechanical biased maintenance engineer.
- Experience:Practical experience in a manufacturing and process-oriented environment.
- Skills:Fault finding and root cause analysis expertise.
- Mindset:Proactive approach to contribute within a continuous improvement culture.
- Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal:Ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues at all levels.
- Flexibility:Willingness to work flexibly as required to meet business needs.
- IT Proficiency:Experience with IT packages such as Microsoft Office and CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
Role Details:
- Hours:40 hours per week on a 3-shift rotation.
- Shifts: 06:00-14:15, 14:00-22:15, 22:00-06:15.
- Salary:36,744 base + 8,451 shift pay = 45,195 per annum.
- Bonus:Target amount of 1,314 per annum (non-guaranteed performance-based bonus scheme).
- Overtime:Overtime paid at time and a half for Monday to Saturday, and double time for Sundays.
