A passionate and motivated Assistant Manager is needed to join our team at The Crusoe, a landmark pub, restaurant, and coastal inn based in Lower Largo, Fife on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a hospitality-focused professional to support our General Manager in maintaining exceptional standards across service, operations, and team leadership.

Located directly on the scenic shoreline, The Crusoe is celebrated for its seaside charm, seasonal locally sourced menus, and a welcoming environment for both guests and team members. As part of the TBC Pub Company, we're proud to deliver memorable experiences and outstanding food and drink in one of Scotland's most unique settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Support the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  •  Lead, train, and motivate a passionate front-of-house team
  •  Deliver exceptional guest experiences in both food and drink service
  •  Monitor staffing levels, stock, and inventory to optimise performance
  •  Track sales, manage costs, and help achieve financial targets
  •  Contribute ideas for new dishes, events, and local collaborations
  •  Assist in promoting the venue via social media and guest engagement
  •  Maintain high standards in health, safety, and hygiene practices

Required Skills:

  •  Enthusiasm for great food, drink, and hospitality
  •  Proven leadership skills and a team-focused approach
  •  Experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector
  •  Solid understanding of financials including cost control and sales tracking
  •  Social media awareness and creative thinking for marketing initiatives
