Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are in partnership with a world leading manufacturer of water and energy systems, looking to recruit MIG Welders. Based in the Clay Cross area of Chesterfield, this company offer long-term roles and career progression!
*This is a production role, so there is an element of repetition each day*

Responsibilities of the job role
- Basic welding experience required, subject to a weld test so confidence is key!
- Following basic and detailed plans
- Working in hot temperatures
- Producing high quality work, demonstrating attention to detail
- Days / afters rotating shifts
- Using welding equipment to make large casings
- Safety boots and fire retardant overalls need to be provided by yourself but all other welding equipment and PPE is supplied by site!
Hours and Pay:
Hours are rotational each week, days start as early as 05:45 and the latest finish time on afters' will be 02:15.
- £13.57ph - Days
- £16.69ph - Afternoons
- £20.36ph - Nights
- £20.36ph – Weekday & Saturday Overtime
- £27.14ph – Sunday & Bank Holiday Overtime
