Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)
Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are currently seeking an experienced Electrically or Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG / Food Manufacturing company near Banbury
About the Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be at the heart of maintaining and improving the operational performance of the site's production machinery. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Proactively supporting the production team with maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Diagnosing system faults and addressing issues swiftly to minimise downtime.
- Continuous improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to maintain smooth operations.
What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background in a Food, FMCG, Packaging, or Manufacturing environment (although other backgrounds will be considered).
- A completed apprenticeship or industry-recognised qualifications, such as NVQ, HNC, HND, BTEC, or City & Guilds.
- Strong experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
- A proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
