Audit Senior Job Vacancy

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for an Audit Semi Senior looking to progress their career to the next level or for an existing Audit Senior to take on a new challenge with huge associated benefits!

This Audit Senior job in Lowestoft comes with a highly competitive salary incredible flexibility around core working hours and the opportunity to supervise an exceptional team of accountants in the delivery of external audit services from planning to completion.

You’ll be a skilled auditor, excellent communicator, you’ll have built up a significant knowledge bank in all areas of audit and you’ll be excited to get to work on being the client’s main point of contact and overseeing the allocation of audit work in the team.

You’ll also be able to act in a position of support to the Audit Managers and Directors and you’ll be keen to be involved in the firm’s business development.

Job Purpose

  • Support the delivery of audits from planning to completion, including field work.
  • Work closely with the Audit Manager to ensure deadlines and budgets are being met.
  • Preparation of financial statements.
  • Support junior staff with learning and development.
  • Build good rapport with clients.
  • Assist with target setting and department budgeting.
  • Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
  • Champion your own professional development, scoping training opportunities.

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or studying with previous audit experience within practice.
  • Adept at supporting audits from planning to completion.
