Lowestoft Vision, the business improvement district for Lowestoft town centre, has an exciting opportunity for a new Business Coordinator to support the Lowestoft Vision Business Improvement District (BID) to enhance the town and businesses of Lowestoft.
This is a part-time three-year contract, from April 2025 to March 2028, with an extension for a further five years based on achieving key targets.
Lowestoft is currently undergoing a time of exciting development, regeneration, and investment, and we are looking for an efficient, collaborative, and organised coordinator to provide administrative support that will help make Lowestoft town centre a vibrant and prosperous place to work and visit.
As the Business Coordinator you will be working with our BID Manager in a varied role to help deliver our business plan for Lowestoft, providing dedicated support under the four key areas of ‘Pride of Place, Regenerate, Protect, and Represent. We can offer between 22.5 – 30 hours per week, with flexibility on both sides in regards to days and hours of work.Â

- An understanding of marketing and financial processes would be beneficial, but training will be given to the right person

Duties will include:
- Administrative support: including managing and responding to emails and general enquiries, database management, organising meetings (including note taking), and managing town centre bookings.
- Events support assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of BID events, including the annual Christmas light switch on event, summer trail and Halloween event.
- Marketing support: Create and deliver regular e-shots and weekly updates to our BID businesses, and work alongside our marketing agency to manage our Discover Lowestoft website and social media pages.
- Financial support: processing purchase orders and invoices, updating Sage, and reconciling accounts.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.

Please note: Whilst we can offer flexible working arrangements, due to the nature of the role you must be able to travel independently to Lowestoft town centre several times a week.
We are offering a salary of £25,000 to £27,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience, along with a pension and healthcare package and flexible working opportunities.
