Sales Executive - Lowestoft - £25k + Commission + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
This role is fully on-site no hybrid or remote.
As a growing company our client has a unique service offering with a global reach and corresponding customer portfolio covering the offshore energy sector. They provide consultancy and membership intelligence services and they are based in Lowestoft. They are continuously developing their sales approach and want you to be part of this.
They seek a bright and enthusiastic Sales Executive. This person will be responsible for selling our subscriptions to their subscribers globally, providing sales demo’s, and the admin associated. It will entail learning all subscription products on offer as well as understanding the offshore energy sector in detail.
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers.
- Makes telephone calls, Teams calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Coordinates sales effort with sales management and technical service groups.
- Analyses the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organisation.
- Plans and organises personal sales strategy by maximising the Return on Time Investment for the
- territory/segment.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keeps abreast of the company’s and competitor product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
- Participates in trade shows, exhibitions and webinars.

You will be responsible for
- responding to incoming email and phone enquiries quickly and efficiently;

- listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
- maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
- cold calling to prospect for new business;
- acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
- negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
- gathering market and customer information;
- representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations as required;
- negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers;
- managing objections with a view to getting the customer to buy;
- advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
- creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer;
- recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system;
- reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
- making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations;
- feeding future buying trends back to management;
- attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
Experience:
Sales background within office environment with targets to achieve
