Job Summary: Our clients are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join their team in Lowestoft. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained.

  • Feeding Assistance: Support residents with eating and drinking, ensuring nutritional needs are met.

  • Activity Participation: Engage with residents in various activities, promoting social interaction and enjoyment.

  • Companionship: Provide a friendly and supportive presence, offering companionship and conversation to residents.

  • Light Housekeeping: Assist with light tidying and meal preparation, contributing to a clean and organized environment.

  • Emotional Support: Show empathy and understanding, providing emotional support to residents and their families.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a paid healthcare or support role is essential.

  • Compassion: A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for helping others.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
