Opus People Solutions are seeking an Asset Manager (Capital Programmes) on an interim basis in East Anglia.

£300 to £350 umbrella.

You will be responsible for delivering and supporting investment programmes and proactively managing the Housing portfolio.

Your main focus would be looking after expenditure and housing stock of around 4500 homes, although there will be an element of upgrading stock condition works.

A knowledge of social house, programming and an expert commercial insight are all important to be successful in this role.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • To work collectively and collaboratively as part of the Housing Investment Team providing leadership which ensures the effective and efficient delivery of investment programmes.
  • Providing expert professional and technical advice on asset management to the Housing Team, Elected Members, colleagues, and residents. Able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of relevant Building Regulations, the planning process, guidance and legislation relating to domestic dwellings. Representing the Housing Investment Team at Council and external business meetings and events.
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of the investment commitments in HRA Asset Management Strategy relating to existing homes.
  • Accountable for the production of timely performance management information, with analysis and context. Maintaining a consistently high-quality flow of insightful information for officers, Elected Members, and residents.
  • Directly responsible for major financial resources, managing significant budgets in line with corporate requirements. Taking an active role in demonstrating sound financial practices and developing a close working relationship with Finance and Procurement Business Partners.
