Healthcare Assistants urgently needed in Lowestoft

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing support and care to our clients residents, helping them with their daily needs and ensuring their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining their dignity and privacy.

  • Feeding Assistance: Support residents during mealtimes, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and hydration.

  • Activity Engagement: Participate in and encourage residents to join in on daily activities, including arts and crafts, music sessions, and other recreational events.

  • Companionship: Be a friendly face and offer companionship to residents, providing emotional support and engaging in meaningful conversations.

  • Light Housekeeping: Help with light tidying and meal preparation, contributing to a clean and comfortable living environment.

  • Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the healthcare team, ensuring prompt and appropriate care.

  • Support Independence: Encourage and support residents in maintaining their independence and quality of life.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Previous experience essential: 3 months full time or 6 months part time paid experience is required

  • Compassion: A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for helping others.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

  • Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
